Hi! I'm Rachel.
I’m an editor who loves diving into a messy first (or third) draft. My goal is to helping you gain the clarity, structure, and feedback you need to publish a strong piece that sparkles.My editing career started my senior year of high school, when I was the Managing Editor of the monthly newspaper. Since then I've been editing, revising, and polishing writing projects throughout my career.I'm also a facilitator, business strategist, and the CEO/Founder of Daring Studios.

Developmental Editing
This in-depth assessment focuses on making sure your story works on a foundational level - and provides guidance on how to strength your story and get it to the next level through potentially significant restructuring and revision.
A developmental edit addresses story elements like plot, conflict/stakes, character development, world building, themes, pacing, structure, supportive subplots, genre and reader expectations, and more.You’re in the right place if you:

Line Editing
This edit dials down to the paragraph and sentence level to help ensure your story is clear and consistent.
The in-line edit refines the words on the page and story elements resulting in a cohesive, complete, and strong story. This edit focuses on tone, voice, pacing, flow, world and character details, transitions, and plot execution. While a line edit will encompasses moderate copy editing, it is not focused on catching typos or spelling, grammar, or punctuation errors.
